Atlantis is a legendary and mysterious island, the myth of which was first mentioned by Plato in his dialogues Timaeus (17-27) and Critias, in the 4th century BC. According to Plato's account, Atlantis was a naval power located "beyond the Pillars of Hercules" and sank "in a single day and night of misfortune" due to Poseidon's intervention. For centuries, this legend has nourished the imagination of men, representing the marvelous and mysterious things lost, but for us, the discovery of Atlantis also represents the longest journey and the most fascinating adventure one can undertake: the journey into our deepest and submerged self.

Diving into the most primal and animalistic emotions, into the irrational part of our being of which we are unaware, in the place where scents live and express themselves in their magical language. The discovery and acceptance of our submerged self is a challenge to be faced in our mature age when we have the courage to dive into new experiences, to listen without fear to the voice of our inner world, to meet our deepest shadows and lights. Do not be afraid, listen to the enchanting song of the sirens because, according to Cicero, this song in the Homeric epic is a promise of knowledge: Odysseus was not attracted to the sweetness of their sound, but by the insatiable desire to learn.

Dive into the salty water, listen to your skin and let your sense of smell guide you to communicate with your deepest and unknown self. You will find the way if you first have the courage to get lost. “Make the unconscious conscious, or it will direct your life and you will call it fate” – Carl Gustav Jung.

The fragrance opens with sparkling and seductive notes, the wonderful Bergamot from Calabria, also called green gold, gives this first impression a strong Italian identity. The ancient rose accompanies it, enriching it with intense and elegant scents, complemented by the soft and sweet embrace of passion fruit. The heart warms in sophisticated seduction with the captivating aroma of Narcissus, which enhances the power of the flower of sin with its carnal and intoxicating trail, the unmistakable and hypnotic aroma of tuberose. In the Renaissance, young girls were forbidden to smell its narcotic fragrance so as not to “fall into temptation.” A similar prohibition was also applied in India, where its name ki rani means “courtesan of the night,” as this flower emits its scent after sunset and it was believed that its fragrance could plunge one into a sentimental oblivion from which it was impossible to escape. This beautiful tuberose, queen of the meadows, is the most exquisite we have encountered in many years of work, and “...its fragrance, like vital beats, seems to ignite the magnetic ardor of dormant love.” – Mark André Raffalovic. The warm, sun-filled fruits accompany this conscious vertigo of the senses, sustained and harmonized by a rich base of Musk combined with the gentle power of Ambergris and the warm sweetness of Benzoin.

This wonderful fragrance is contained in a symbolic bottle, on which a marine creature wraps itself, crafted using the ancient goldsmith technique of granulation, which, when touched, gives a tactile pleasure to the fingertips and can only be conquered by immersing oneself in salty water. A sensory experience that preludes the joy of a sweet surrender to the most mysterious and powerful carnal pleasure: that of our mind.
