Santal Austral Extrait by Matière Première is a more intense, spicy and profound reinterpretation of Santal Austral, built around Australian Organic Sandalwood Oil, the protagonist of the composition with its creamy, enveloping and long-lasting character.
For this Extrait version, Aurélien Guichard increased the overall perfume concentration and the dosage of the main raw material, making the trail even richer and more textured.
As a guest ingredient, Nepalese Black Cardamom Absolute, developed exclusively for Matière Première, was introduced. Its smoky, woody and spicy nuances create a vibrant contrast with the softness of Sandalwood, adding greater depth and character to the composition.
The result is an intense and sophisticated Sandalwood fragrance, where creaminess, spices and smoky accents blend into a warm, elegant and long-lasting trail.
All fragrances from the house contain between 85% and 92% ingredients of natural origin and are gender neutral. The formulas are vegan and made without phthalates or colorants.
