Follow the producer's suggestions on how to preserve beauty and softness of such a precious fabrice as cashmere itself, season after season.
How to wash your cashmere?
Hand-wash cashmere in lukewarm water (max 30°C/86°F) with a specific mild soap. Gently massage the piece and rinse it without twisting. Remove any accidental stains by immediately patting the piece with a damp cloth and then using a mild detergent. If the stain persists, do not insist. It is preferable to contact a specialized laundry, which will treat your piece without damaging the fibers.
How to dry your cashmere?
After washing the cashmere piece, pat it dry with a towel and lay it out on a flat surface, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. We recommend that you do not hang it on the drying rack or similar, because the risk it warps is very high.
What damages cashmere and how to store when you don't use it?
Hot water, harsh detergents, excessive rubbing and improper drying can damage your cashmere piece. Place the clean and folded piece in a cotton bag or in a box to protect it from dust and insects. For additional protection, use mothproof products.
What to be careful of when wearing your cashmere?
Perfumes and deodorants can leave chemical residues that deteriorate fibers, while heavy bags and sharp objects can rub cashmere and cause pilling or even small tears. When wearing cashmere, be careful to limit contact with objects that could spoil its softness, such as clasps, jewelry with raised decorations, Velcro and zips.
